We were one of the 20,000 lucky ones who lost their Internet connection last night due to a "node failure in Edinburgh" whatever that may be. And of course it happened just as I was sitting down ready to blog hop. Did make a couple of cards last night but really not happy with them, so I was over the moon when our Internet came back on mid-afternoon. Spent a happy hour deciding what challenges I was going to enter and the cards I was going to make and here is one of them:
This was so quick and easy, and still very effective, and I would like to think elegant! I've used a cream textured base card, and then stamped an Anna Griffin flourish in 3 different colours of Brilliance Pearlescent ink (Poppy, Ivy & Chocolate) and then sprinkled it with ultra fine embossing powder, and then heated it with my brand new sparkly heat gun (well it's not sparkly really) and added a sentiment in the poppy ink.

365 Cards - inspired by their blog page - the colours and the flourishes are very reminiscent of their site, it also matches my curtains in the background pretty well!
I agree. Very elegant. I like flourishes!
