Well that's Mothers Day sorted....

Only 999 more cards to make this week.....Only joking! It just feels that way sometimes :)
I made this one using a Serendipity stamp, (which will have to remain nameless because I don't know it), and it's been coloured using my Promarkers.
I would like to enter it into the following challenges:
For Fun Challenges - Flowers
The Outlawz Copic/Promarker Challenge - Colouring Flowers

Birthday Boy

Well, I managed to get my small persons card made before his actual birthday, but hey, let's face it, he wouldn't know either way. It may look slighty familiar, and you may be experiencing a feeling of deja vu, but I can assure you it is a totally new card. I think I did a better job on Freddy's hair on the last one too. Maybe we should all play "spot the difference"?
Anyway I digress (as usual). I used the sketch from The Outlawz Wedensday Challenge, and in case you missed it, Freddy is a digi from Mo's Digital Pencil which I've coloured using Promarkers. I used my Nellie Snellen dies again and some dotty Bazill cardstock. The star in the corner is a rub-on, sorry Outlawz ladies, just couldn't use a bow!

I would like to enter it into The Outlawz Sketch Challenge, the Do it with Digi's Challenge which is for kids themed cards, and also The I Love Promarkers Challenge which this week calls for dots/spots

Boys will be Boys...

Evening people, well actually, Middle of the Night people. Yes, here I am burning the midnight oil, I had a nap today which has messed up my bedtime, so what better than to make cards and blog?

My small person turns two on Friday, how on earth did that happen? And he also has a small friend whose birthday is 2 days later, so tonight I've had a bash at making a card for said friend. Obviously haven't even started the one for mine yet.....

I've made it using a digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Freddy, and he's been coloured using Promarkers. The BP is by Making Memories (called Pitter Patter) and I've used a Nellie Snellen die to cut him out. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Sweet Stampin - Slugs & snails & puppy dog tails
Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - Let's hear it for the Boys
The Outlawz Monday Greetings - Let's Hear it for the Boys

And yet more green....

I think I need to revamp my stash of cardstock - everything I pull out of there at the moment is Green! Anyhow, enough yapping, here is my card:
I followed the "recipe" for the Outlawz Sunday Challenge which was 2 stamps (flower and sentiment), ribbon, and embossing (heat or dry). The image has been stamped with versamark and then brushed over with chalks, which is why it's not that easy to see cleary. I've used Nellie Snellen dies and a swiss dots embossing folder as the background. The sentiment tag has also been stamped with versamark and chalk.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
The Outlawz CAS Challenge Mar 13th
OCL Challenge 57 - embossing
Stampin' Royalty Challenge 63 - Texturise

Green, Green and more Green

Evening bloggers! Today the sun was shining, the grass is growing (not that I have any) and I nearly have daffodils out in the garden, so what better than to celebrate Spring! It's on it's way even though it was -5C last night.

Here's the card that has sprung from all these inspiring sights (pardon the pun):

Too Girlie Girlie...

Blasted song stuck in my head now....I'm so rubbish at choosing titles for blog posts :)

Today's offering (Petra, I hope you're proud of me) has taken the best part of a whole day to finish, due to my now shortened crafting hours (small person/afternoon nap/drastically reduced), and I'm not convinced I'm finished with it yet. Bit more bling perhaps? More flowers maybe?

I have many failed attempts at paper flowers, and I think these ones are a step in the right direction, although they should probably be scrunched up a bit more, but I need to wait for the glue to dry first! I used some Marianne Creatable dies to cut out 4 medium sized flowers and 3 smaller ones, and then scrunched and layered them up.
The image is by Sarah Kay and is available here and she has been coloured using Promarkers. I've used some Nellie Snellen dies to cut her out and the oval behind, and the edges were inked in Tattered Rose Distress ink.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Fab n Funky - Make it Girly (it's about as girly as I get)
Anything Goes - Diecuts
Passion for Promarkers - Theme Food and Drink (slightly tenuous....)

Is it Spring yet? Part 2....

Wow! Two posts in one week? Things are looking up! I made this card last night using some free stamps which came with the latest issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

I had a bit of a rubbish evening - terrible toddler tantrums resulting in a bedtime 3 hours later than normal for a certain small person who shall remain nameless. This of course meant that I should have gone to bed when he finally did, but I was so wound up, I felt I had to have a bit of stress relief in craftiness.

Here is the card:
The image has been coloured with Promarkers, and I'd like to enter him into the following challenges:
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Spring
For Fun Challenge - Spring

I'm going to be sending this card to a very special little boy, and if you could help by sending him a card too, I know it would be gratefully received. I found out about him through a friend on Papercraft Planet, and his story is as follows:

"Max Low is a 12 year old from Neola, Iowa. He has been battling cancer for half of his life. His doctors recently told his parents to enjoy the time they have left with him. His wish is to get 1 million cards. He has currently gotten about 23,000. If you would like to help Max get his wish, please send a get well card to the following address: Mighty Max Low, C/O Greg and Bambi Low, PO Box 111, Neola, IA 51559"

Distressingly Absent

Ok, so I'm a bad blogger, been missing for months haven't I? Trouble is want to spend all my time crafting that I forget about the blogging! Making an extra special effort and here is a card I made last night, using distress inks and tombow markers.
The image was a freebie from TLC and the sentiment was a freebie from McMahon Five which unfortunately doesn't appear to be free anymore. It's still lovely though.
I would like to enter this into the Anything Goes Challenge which this fortnight is all about Distressing. And it ends today, so I'd better get on and link it....
