Into the Unknown....

So the irresistible lure of paper crafting continues to wind me around it's little finger and I have recently dabbled in Scrapbooking. I must confess I find it harder than card making - no pretty pictures to colour, and far too much cutting out for my liking! However, I've started so I'll finish....
On the advice of scrappy chick, P I joined the site Let's Scrap, and they do a decent layout I can follow pretty much every week. Tonight's attempt is based on their sketch for this week:
I've only been brave enough to do half of it, as I seriously dislike making the photo frame. Obviously mitered corners are not my forte.
The various embellishments on the corners are covering up a multitude of paper sins.....
I would also like to enter into a couple of challenges, because, well hey, why not?

  3. I dabble in scrapbooking too and it is much harder, but I do find that sketches give you the much needed inspiration. I just think it's because you have so much more page to fill LOL. Great work, love the papers. Hugs, Claire x

  4. I love scrapbooking and although it takes a while to get used to working on a 12x12 scale, the results you can get are wonderful. I love this layout and using embellishments to hide things that aren't exactly as you want them is all part of the scrapbookers repertoire. Thanks for joining in with Quirky Crafts 'Anything But a card' challenge this week.
