No not quite, unfortunately, but it does feel like it over on the new Quirky Crafts Challenge, which this week is all about In the Spring Garden and must include a stamped or digi image of something you would find in the garden (flowers, bees, butterflies, insects, pots, any garden themed stamp or digi), and include the colours pink and green, I was lucky enough to be asked back as a Guest DT, so I got to play with some lovely images and papers provided by this weeks sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps.
I chose to use the Butterfly Love image and the Dahlia image, along with some of the papers from the wonderfully pink digi Paper Pack from Stitchy called Love Blooms which is the January Collab offer that comes free with any purchase from Stitchy over $10 in value. Perfect for Valentines Day cards!
Here's my card:
I firstly layered the Butterfly Love the digi onto one of the papers from the digi pack, and then copied it to retain the same size and printed it on a white background, this meant I coud do a bit of colouring with my promarkers, but also use some of the background paper to form her dress. The Dahlia digi I flipped and coloured, then cut out. Mounted the panel onto another of the digi papers, and added a bit of spotty ribbon and ricrac, with some pearls and gems in the corners.

Pay it Forward 2011
Now for a bit of fun, I've entered a "Pay it Forward" at Aqualeiga's Escape, so here I am Paying it Forward...
I promise "Something Handmade" to the FIRST 5 people to comment on this post. However there is a catch - you must repost this status, offering "Something Handmade" to 5 other people. The rules are that it must be "Handmade" or "Homemade" by "YOU" and it must be sent to your 5 other people some time in 2011. If you'd like to play along please leave a comment below, and as I don't sew or knit, and it's probably not wise to send food through the post, you can pretty much bet it'll be a paper-based item!

How many?
So today I totted up how many birthday cards I have to make over the next 6 weeks, and just about fell off my chair! It's 15! Yes, 15! And that's on top of the 8 ATC's, umpteen Thank-you cards, the Anniversary card for my own Hubby, and I think we'll just forget about Valentines Day, ta very much.
I managed to make 2 last night, another two this lunchtime when small person was sleeping, and here's the one I've made this evening. It's for a soon-to-be 9 year old who plays for the local under 10's ice hockey team (and he's the grandson of one of my work colleagues).
The image is from Kenny K, and he's been coloured using Promarkers and then cut out and mounted on 3D foam. I've used a couple of different colours of Bazzill cardstock from my stash, and inked the edges using Stormy Sky Distress ink, and printed a basic "Happy Birthday" sentiment in red ink in the corner. Possibly could have added a bit more to it, but thought a soon-to-be 9 year old probably wouldn't appreciate it. Well let's hope Granny likes it!
I would like to enter this into this weeks Fab n Funky challenge which this week is Anything Goes. I was hoping for a few more challenges to enter, but don't have time to hunt them down....

My Blog Has Attitude!
A big thank-you to Ali for giving me this award!
Not only do I get this hot pink sticker to plaster all over my blog, it also comes with a $5 gift certificate to spend in their store! So what do I need to do to claim it?
Well the rules are here, but basically I have to tell you 3 things about myself that make me different, and I have to nominate 5 other bloggers, and the good thing is, if you got this award last year, you still qualify for the $5 gift certifcate! 1 award per blog per year!
So firstly lets tell you 3 things about myself:
1: I only get my haircut once a year and it costs me a fiver.....
2: Peanut Butter M&M's are my new favourite food (do they count as a fruit/veg portion?)
3: My birthday is on Groundhog Day!
So my next task is to pick 5 blogs:
Firstly, I choose a Dunderhero in the shape of Leanie, and then we'll have Christy, and Petra, and Trina and finally Sam aka Sparkly Moo.
I look forward to reading the three things about you all!

New Year, New Beginnings!
Heeeelllllooooo everybody! And a very Happy New Year to you too! I was chuffed as little mintballs to be asked to be a GDT on the latest Quirky Crafts Challenge which for the next fortnight is all about something new: a new baby, New Year, new puppy (which apparently my brother and girlfriend have gone to collect today), an engagement or even just using up your new stash of Christmas goodies.
For my card I chose to make a New Baby card for a lovely lady who's baby is due next week. She already knows she's having a girl (hopefully the scan was right) so I went ahead and made it pink. She is also Swedish so I wanted to use a Swedish sentiment, which lovely Louise was kind enough to help me with.
I used a digi stamp freebie from SJ's Little Musings called Fifi the Giraffe. I've used it loads and it's great for new baby cards. The papers were downloads and both were magazine freebies (I think - sorry) and the sentiment says "A Little Miracle" in Swedish.
